Topography: The land is mostly fertile flat land yet there are also some mountain ranges such as the Zagros Mountains
Hydrography: Many seas such as Mediterranean, Persian, and Red Seas. Also two major rivers are located in Babylon: The Tigris and Euphrates River
Climate: In the summer it is hot and dry. However, during the winter it is cold and wet. The rivers overflow onto the land surrounding it and cause the land to become fertile
How does the physical features affect the area? Because of the flooding the land is fertile and good for farming. With the rivers, trade and transportation is easier.
